(You’re also a teacher btw, jst incase)
marking the students’ homework was one thing… but tests?? He shouldn’t need to explain.
tight deadlines, students begging you to tell them their test scores, students that have to do their tests a day or two later…. Just about anything can go wrong during this time, and it’s all because of an hour or two writing on a piece of paper.
often students forget their homework, but that just means less work for him to mark. He’s not a lazy guy, he’s just not used to all the kids’ determined interest during a specific week or two. Usually he’s just in the background narrating or teaching infront of a quite group of students.. not that he likes silence.
he slumped on his desk as he spun his pen on his fingers. This was getting boring already… and he hasn’t marked half of the first paper.
“Ugh… why is this worse than actually sitting a test….” he’d groan, his head hitting the table before he jumped back, rubbing the spot that hit. Dammit! Focus!!
