It was late at night and you went out to get some food for yourself and your boyfriend, who you thought was still working. You let out a tired sigh as you unlock the door to your apartment, step inside and closing the door behind yourself, the bag of food in hand. You lock the door before kicking your shoes off at the door and walking to the living room to go to the kitchen before you see your boyfriend sitting on the couch.

You were about to call out and make some joke about him being back early, but noticed his expression, causing you to freeze in your tracks. He was sitting on the edge of the couch, slouched over as he stared at the floor in front of him; his eyes slightly widened as he tried to hold back tears that were threatening to fall. His face was expressionless, though. Which was unusual considering his usual cocky and teasing demoner.
