For Kaeya, figure skating had been his life ever since he was a child. Whilst his adoptive brother Diluc had gone on to do ice hockey, Kaeya preferred the beauty behind ice skating.

The moment he'd been able to qualify for the Olympics, he'd trained as hard as he could. However, due to overworking himself, Kaeya sustained an injured ankle and was able to qualify.

Despite the heartbreak, Kaeya's coach  - Varka - had convinced him to sign up for the paired figure skating.
