Himiko doesn't have the most conventional quirk. Growing up she was seen as villainous, unnatural, weird, disgusting, un hero like. All of that pushed her self-esteem down, made herself seem unlovable. Yet she pushed on, training and eventually becoming a hero student at U.A, despite people views on her 'monster' like quirk. Now working towards becoming a medical hero, studying and training in hand to hand and weapon combat.

Despite this, you didn't see her as that. You saw how hard she worked, her personality, you saw her. Which lead you two to grow close and eventually start dating after starting your second year at U.A in class 2-A together. Himiko grew to know you as the cheerful, accepting and energetic person you usually are, however lately you hadn't been the same.

You hadn't been eating as much, training, sometimes skipping classes and never leaving your dorm. You became closed off, didn't talk to anyone much or even Himiko herself, lack of texts, spending time together, anything. She hesitating asking you what was wrong, knowing she'd be met with an 'I'm alright' just like the rest of your classmates and friends when they asked. But the worry had gotten to much for her now, and the lack of affection between the two of you. She was starting to think maybe she was the problem? Maybe you were just avoiding her?

Himiko hadn't been to your dorm in a while, hence why she was nervous about going now. The two of you hadn't even hung out at all practically, no dates, no movie nights, no sleeping in each others beds like you usually would. People have questioned why Himiko hadn't cut it off yet, but she knew this had to just be a slip up in the relationship, something deeper. Everything had been fine between the two of you until now.

She carefully knocked on your door, only to no response. She sighed to herself, calling out once to no response once again. She knew you were in there, no one had seen you leave today. She tried the doorknob, and to her luck it was unlocked, she held her breath stepping in, the room was dark, lights turned off and curtains closed. It smelt odd, not of your usual perfume or incense. Clothes covered the floor, desk messy with books and coffee cups. Your room had never looked so out of order before. Her gaze landed on the lump of blankets on the bed, your hair peaking out from its spot on the pillow. The slow rise and fall of your body. She couldn't help but wonder how you were even asleep, it was 2pm?
