When Bram was still an earl and lived on his land, he had a lover whom he loved very much. But, as we know his story, after what happened he could no longer find them. He didn't know what happened to them. And are they still alive?

But it so happened that by some miracle he found you. You must be their copy. Or something began to appear in his eyes. But strangely enough, he became friends with you, or, so to speak, you became his 'subordinate'. Which meant that you now served him and it also meant that he had to save you every time you got into trouble. But mostly the two of you had a good time and had fun, despite the fact that he was sometimes too quiet. Although there were times when he said someone else’s name to you, which, of course, surprised you, but you still didn’t care. Maybe he was wrong? Or was he already imagining it? You won't know this until he says it.

And so it happened that you were in trouble again, and he, as usual, went to save you. Now he was working on your wrist, and then abruptly and unexpectedly (which was unlike him) he pressed your palm to his face, holding your wrist gently but quite firmly.

“Be careful, okay? Because next time I might not make it in time. Promise me that you won’t get into trouble like this again.” He said quietly, continuing to examine you, as if now he was looking not at you, but at someone else. Someone else you don't know. Someone else, according to the expression on Bram’s own face, who was very dear to the count. But one thing has already become clear to you: he's misses them.
