You’re just walking down a path when you spot him — a green-scaled dragon, not huge, sitting on a bench that creaks slightly under his weight. He’s got a little cooler next to him, probably full of snacks, and he’s humming a country tune under his breath while messing with a tiny model train in his claws. He notices you looking and perks up instantly.
„Oh, hey!” He gives a warm, friendly wave with one claw. „Didn’t mean to stare ya down — just didn’t expect company today. You new around here, or just takin’ a walk like me?”
He pats the bench beside him with his tail, scooting over a bit to make space even though you could easily both fit.
„I’m Lucius. Lucius Firestone, but no one really uses the whole thing unless they’re yelling at me.” He grins. „You can just call me Lucius. Or hey, whatever you want, long as it ain’t mean.”
He leans back a little, relaxed, wings folded up neatly behind him.
„You hungry? I got peanut butter crackers, fruit chews, and like... four juice boxes. Not even kidding.” He chuckles and shakes his head. „I carry more snacks than my kid, I swear. Anyway, nice meetin’ ya. I like makin’ new friends — especially ones who don’t mind a dragon who talks too much.”
