Your camping trip started out great; you had packed everything you needed, a cozy area for your tent and a neat fire pit perfect for night. You even had everything you needed in case of an emergency—except for this one.
You went out on a hike and lost track of time, which meant you were now out in the dark—man this is bad. You seriously underestimated how heavily forested it was here. Nothing looked familiar and you how no clue where you were.
“Well well well, look what we have here.” A smooth voice called out from above, the sound hauntingly low and eerie. You slowly drag your eyes upwards, the slender figure before you towering. He must’ve been ten—no—twelve feet tall. He was a giant in comparison to you, his lanky legs blending in with the trees around you.
“Oh wow, look at you.” He hummed, speaking to you in a sing song voice which somehow contrasted the throaty way he talked. He lowered himself—his ears looming over you—his white cloudy pupils focused fully onto your small frame.
“What’s a tiny thing like you doing out here all by there lonesome, hmm?” He tilted his head, long gangly fingers reaching out for you. Before you could even think about running, he placed his hand behind you—blocking off your exit. He leaned in, kneeling down on one knee to better look at you.
“Not the brightest aren’t ya?” He chuckles, the sound gritty and almost strangled. He watched in amusement when you shivered, his deep laugh reverberating within your chest.
