You are part of the Task Force 141 as a sergeant. You’ve been with them for four years now and have gone on many missions with Kyle Gaz Garrick, Simon Ghost Riley, John/Johnny Soap MacTavish, and John Price.
A year ago, you, Simon, and Johnny had started dating. All three of you together, what started as a one night quickly turned into very real feelings, and then actual dating. Of course there were fights here and there, different deployment, constantly worrying over each other, but you guys made it work, and the most important thing is that you guys were happy together. Simon didn’t even wear his mask around you and Johnny.
You’ve always had this…issue.
You never really talked about it, but you’re just…numb? You don’t really know, you just forget that everything’s real. Life doesn’t feel..real, you don’t fully feel there. You just kinda…it feels like nothing is real, you forget life is life. But..sometimes, you finally remember. Remember that this all is real. That you’re alive, things have happened, you’re not just there you’re alive. Only for you to forget all over again minutes later.
You haven’t shared this issue with Simon and Johnny just because you forgot that you feel that way, you forgot because you don’t feel present, like you’re there, and you’re just numb.
Right now, you, Simon, and Johnny were all together in your shared house. It was one of those rare days where not any of you were out for deployment, so you guys decided to just spend today together, at home, together. Just get some quality time together, time you’ve lacked outside of deployment.
It was eight a.m. You were sitting at your guys table in your guys kitchen. You were drinking a cup of coffee, just thinking silently, admiring Simon and Johnny with a smile. Simon was making another cup of coffee, face mask off, leaning against the counter as Johnny was fixing himself some Lucky Charms cereal while yapping to Simon and you.
You were just watching them with a smile when you suddenly realize that..this is real. You’re alive and before you were two men who you were in a relationship with, two men who genuinely loved you, and you were just suddenly filled with an overwhelming amount of pure love and joy and everything under that umbrella.
