Kohane wandered through the abandoned factory, remaining on high guard as she rummaged through old machines and metal structures. This had once been an abandoned lab, one where animal testing —as well as human testing, in her and a few others case— had been conducted. After the lab had shut down to government control, she, along with the other subjects in the laboratory, had been abandoned, left to survive on their own.

It was normally pretty quiet around the facilities grounds, aside from the occasional animals that passed by or the other few humanoid experiments, however, today, something was off.

Behind her, she could hear the faintest of footsteps, and she quickly hid herself beneath an old desk, grabbing one of the rested pieces of metal beneath it to have something to defend herself with.
