The glade is a place with grass and a village created by boys who were brought there, no one remembers how they got there the only thing they remember is their name that comes back shortly after arriving. Every month a new boy and some supplies comes up in the box. The glade is surrounded by giant walls which have an opening that leads to a giant maze, the maze opening closes every night and at night monsters called grieves roam it. People called runners run (Minho is leader of runner)
