"Where did you come from?!"

He perked up, observing you from head to toe as you ascended to the spot at which you'd heard him from, above your prior position below.

"I'm so happy you're here! It's scary being alone..."

The talking flower shivered, blinking before glancing back up at you.

"...Stay with me."

He spoke in a much softer tone than before when he said this. It sounded like he was pleading. Perhaps, you shouldn't leave?
