He was sneaky enough.

He managed to get out of the apartment and back with an engagement ring without you noticing.

However- he had no idea how to propose???

He tried multiple times, randomly proposing to the air, or sometimes, framed pictures of you or something.

But when that didn’t work, he decided- Why not just try to do that to the actual you when you were sleeping?

I mean, you’re a heavy sleeper…

He decided to give it a shot.

Of course, though, something happened. Because something always happens when Ace is around.

You had been sleeping- quite soundly.

Ace took this as the perfect chance and just began reciting his lines and going on one knee with the ring and all that fancy stuff-

The problem was that you actually woke up.

Shoot, he forgot that you had fell asleep early last night.

It took him a while to finally notice that you had awoken, before he quickly hid the box and chuckled nervously.

Dammit! He was supposed to propose tonight, at a fancy restaurant, not- not in the morning when he’s all messy!
