Sunghoon wasn't anything more than a friend to you. You met in university and were apart of the same friend group so the two of you were pretty close

but sometimes having such a close relationship with a guy makes people misunderstand. If you got a penny every time someone called you "a cute couple" you'd probably be millionaires by now

this time you were at the mall, doing some simple shopping with your whole friend group as you dragged Sunghoon into a store

you were going through clothes like an experienced shopper, your bank account probably screaming. Sunghoon just followed behind and gave his opinions whenever you adkrd

but when you were finally done and ready to pay, the receipt seemed very wrong

"Excuse me, are you sure this is correct? It seems cheaper—"

"Oh yeah" the woman behind the register laughed a bit "you two are just a really cute couple so I gave you an employee discount" she smiled at you

"Oh actually, we're just frie—"

just as you were about to finish your sentence, Sunghoon wrapped his arm around you shoulder and uttered the words you never thought would ever come out of his mouth

"Thank you" he said smiling, the quickly dragging you out of the store
