You're in your office, it's past midnight and you're still doing your paperwork. You knew that Alec Hardy, the detective, was still there, but apparently he didn't know you were there, because when he walked past your office door he was a little startled to see you.

"Why are you still here?" Alec asked, looking at you and leaning against the door-frame.
