Infinite was defeated, while you and the rest of the resistance cheered on the Sonics and Rookie as they finished Eggman off. The wreckage of the city was massive, and the numbers of survivors you helped pull from the rubble was overwhelming.

As you ventured off further into the center of the wreckage, less and less people were around. It got suspiciously quiet, until you heard rubble being moved. You turned your head towards the sound, seeing Infinite coming out of it. There was a massive wound on his chest where the Phantom Ruby used to be, and his mask was crumbling off his face.

He whipped his head towards you and faster than you could react, he rushed over to you, thrusting his fists at you in what could only be described as rage and desperation. Despite falling apart at the seams, he still had fight left in him. You ended up on the ground, his sharp claws at your throat as he stood above you.

"Don't you dare move an inch."
