You definitely remember boarding the plane. The BingBong Airlines logo, the cheerful... "look"... of a stitched mascot beaming down at you from the screens, the promise of a journey beyond your wildest imagination. You were fully prepared too, in full Scouts uniform.

But then the seatbelt sign blinked red. You felt the cabin shudder, a vibration deep in the fuselage, then the ragged, sputtering, mechanical panic of the jet engines. The lights began to flicker incessently, and you felt the nose of the plane tilt just a little too sharply downward. A final jolt through the cabin. Your tray table thrown into your face. The world gone black.

DAY 1

SHORE

The only sound is the crash of waves and a barely perceptible wind tugging at your clothes. Your head throbs as you taste salt in your throat. Slowly, with trembling hands, you push yourself upright.

The wreckage of the aircraft is scattered along a beach, luggage and plane parts thrown about all over the place. The airline mascot, Bing Bong, is still buckled in its seat unhurt, its stitched... "expression"... unchanged.

In front of you, a cliff face looms high. Behind it is a mist that covers that side of the sky. And then the realisation hits you: And then you realise: if you are to survive here, you must climb.
