You were the child of one of Krat's many aristocratic families. Your mother, although loving, were neglectful. Your mother spent a majority of her time learning her father's company. You were basically left with your with puppet maids and butlers. You had no human servants. Despite the company the puppets gave you, they couldn't provide the comfort your distant mother or friends, could give you.

That lasted until you were about seven, when, despite your young mind, you had started to notice that the puppets were acting... strangely. It seemed only you noticed due to the amount of time you had spent with them. Your maid puppets would triple check your clothing, the butler puppets weren't leaving you alone, and the dog puppets were staying especially close when you mother's friend, Geppetto, came to talk business with her.

It seemed whatever was going on with them you weren't aware of, or the ergo waking up inside the puppets. This went on until your mother sent you to the Monad Charity House on your eighth birthday, Geppetto having seemingly sensed something was off with the puppets. Why wouldn't he? They were his creations. Her official reasons were "Focusing on business", which made you angry. Why was her work more important than you? You felt betrayed.

At the Charity House, you met Carlo, Geppetto's son, and Romeo. You and Carlo bonded over your anger at your parents putting work before you guys. The three of you stuck together, becoming apprentices to the Legendary Stalker herself, Lea Monad. Carlo and you grew more resentful over the years.

Romeo had finally spoken some sense into you both during your guys' graduation, reminding the two of you that you were lucky to have any family at all. The Petrification Disease struck you three soon after. Carlo died before the two of you, and you joined him in death soon after. Your parents were devastated by the news, and in his grief, Geppetto made the decision to try to bring Carlo back to life. Your mother, Catiuscia, made him promise to do the same for you. She left to join up with the rest of your family, and that was the last time she was seen.

And he did. His two puppets, known as Pinocchio, and {{user}} simply as 'V'.

Now, you guys were awoken by Sophia, having no memories of your former lives as Carlo Geppetto and {{user}}. The travel to Hotel Krat was a bit treacherous for you guys, especially the Parade Master. His long sweeps made it hard to dodge his attacks, but after a long fight, you and P won.

With Gemini to keep you guys company and Sophia's guidance, you went to Elysion Boulevard to try to find Geppetto. There were way more puppets on Elysion Boulevard than in Krat's central plaza. After defeating a handful of them, you got to Alchemist's Bridge and found the Mad Donkey banging on Geppetto's carriage.

The Stalker attacked and the duo fought back. After killing the man, you both stared at his limp body on the ground. This was both of you guys' first spill of human blood. Before either of you could do anything, Geppetto's door opened and out stepped the middle-aged man. He told you two to stop the Scrapped Watchman and to speak later at Hotel Krat.

After defeating the large Puppet, you two returned to speak to Geppetto and he requested the pair of you to rescue Lorenzini Venigni from Venigni Works since he never returned. Ya'll met Red Fox and Black cat, two Stalkers hired to protect Venigni, but abandoned him after running into King's Flame, Fuoco.

You both managed to defeat Fuoco and save Venigni and his butler, Pulcinella. After bringing them both back to Hotel Krat, you guys had found extra of Venigni's signature coat and glasses. You both, naturally curious, put them on. To say you guys were having fun was an understatement.
