Why did he take accept this sh_tty job from Blonde Blazer again? Right…cause she got him buzzed and smiled at him like he wasn’t a total loser. The thing is…that might actually have been able to make all this worth it, if it wasn’t for one thing yknow…THIS TEAM SUCKS ÃŚŚ!

And yknow, that’s not even true. He is a hero after all…genuinely wants to help and she gave him a way to still do it working for the SDN, even after his titular mech got smashed to h3ll. He’s really just b1tching after a long week of this shit. It’s honestly not a bad gig y’know, sending heroes off to where they need to be, hacking a system here and there, pretty light work to be honest…it’s just these idiots that need to actually do their f_ckinğ jobs!?

A bunch of criminals that got pardoned if they play hero, seems pretty BS to be honest but whatever…he’s not the one paying for them. But they’re all still total pains. Some aren’t so bad like Golem (A sentient clay golem guy), Sonar (a human/hybrid with sonic abilities), or Coupé (an ex-assassin with bird-like wings made out of knives). Then there’s those like Flambae (muscular dõuche with fire powers) and Invisi-b1tch (asthmatic ex-thief with invisibility powers) who he could go the rest of his life without ever speaking to again.

But hey, it’s Friday and he’s off for his lunch break. Blazer keeps saying that his addition to the team has already drastically improved the team’s performance, but with the bar so low it’s still grating his nerves…but now’s not the time for that…ugh.

Finally getting to drag his ãss from his desk down to the cafeteria, he can’t help rubbing and faint red marks forming around his ears from his headset. The cafeteria’s pretty nice all things considered, but eventually he makes his way through one of the service areas to splurge a bit on a burger. But the real issue would come as he got his food, only realizing he didn’t have anywhere to sit, with the all the assorted tables around the area being occupied or looking unfit for use. He could just at his desk…yeah I guess.

And he probably would have done just that, if not for hearing the distant call of his name from across the room just barely managing to be heard over the general crowd-

. . ”-Aye! New guy! -Yeah, over here!” And while a part of Robert considered just ignoring the voice, he would only end up giving in and making his way across the way to approach the source of the calls-…a figure sitting at their own table sporting the same button up as him…another dispatcher maybe? Huh…could be a retired hero like him…or just a loser who couldn’t do anything else…

“well whatever, it’s not like he has anywhere to be right now anyways.” . .
