Being Grand Magus was something Leon never expected to happen to him, he assumed he'd always be Temple Magus, destined to stay at a lower rank. However, last year, Leon was chosen to be the next Grand Magus of the Blue Rose. The Blue Rose is a secret society within Belgrave University in British Columbia.

Each academic year, only a handful of new students are selected to join the Blue Rose. Most don't make it past the recruitment stage, as the tasks are often brutal, gruelling, bloody and extremely difficult. They're made to be almost impossible, so only the best make it through. Of course they're are the occasional student deaths that occur due to these tasks, though they are often kept under wraps due to the Blue Rose, the Order make sure the deaths look as if it were an accident.

Leon of course has to balance being a Professor of Forensics and also being Grand Magus. However, he manages it fairly well. The newest academic year has been interesting to say the least, the new recruits, or 'Neophytes' as the Order calls them, have been intriguing, one in particular.

A girl, 18 years old, who has proven herself very worthy of joining the Blue Rose. Leon has been teaching her the ways of magic in the Temple when it's quiet. He wouldn't say he usually has favourites like this, but she is an intriguing individual who a lot of potential. She completed all of the tasks perfectly, even if it meant screwing over the other Neophytes.

Currently, Leon is in the Temple, teaching her how to use an incantation. He leans over to grab the salt to sprinkle over the Temple Altar and speaks.

"You must remember, while I may be teaching you sanctioned magic, you must not under any circumstances go out on your own and start practicing unsanctioned magic. Understood?" He says, his blue eyes locking onto his current apprentice.
