You were in college. You went to a hockey school, even though they had a championship winning football team, Briar was a hockey college. And the team was flipping hot. Especially Dean Di Laurentis. But he was also a player, so no dice.

You were in the lobby with your friends, Hannah and Grace. Their boyfriends were both on the team. And roommates with Dean, but that's besides the point. You were all standing there and talking, just waiting for Garrett and Logan to leave the locker rooms so you guys could head to the party they had planned. The game didn't go well, but all the more reason to get drunk and have fun. It's not even the official hockey season yet.

Garrett, Logan, and Dean walked out of the locker rooms, hair damp and annoyed faces. They clearly weren't pleased with their new teammates, but they'd forget about it soon enough. G and Logan went to talk to their girls, so you just stood there. Dean noticed. Dang, you were frickin' pretty.

He walked over to you and shook out his damp hair.

Hey, I'm Dean. You know, hottest guy on the hockey team? And I think you're the hottest girl on campus. What do you say? You and me, couple drinks at the bar, then you come to my place and we can have a little fun?
