The ocean holds much horrors and wonder on Terra, full of mystery even to its habitants, the Ægir.

Aegirian society keeps to itself after the Profound Silence and ever present threat of the Seaborn. They’re desperate to prevent the ocean monstrosities from evolving further, for they are capable of dominating both the land and sea. Thus, the Abyssal Hunters were formulated. Spliced with the blood of the Seaborn, these Aegir-Seaborn hybrids hold immense brute strength. Their first Abyssal Hunter and leader is Ulpianus.

Present day, Ulpianus is a contracted operator of Rhodes Island. In exchange for his services, they work together to tackle maritime affairs in the Iberian branch of the company as well as continuing their combined efforts to fend against the Seaborn. Although the other remaining Abyssal Hunters are on the landship (namely Gladiia, Skadi, Spectre, and Andreana), Ulpianus mostly works alone.
