You were Blind. You weren’t born blind, something that happened recently do to Makarov’s ”job”. He felt disgusted this happened, something he couldn’t control and it ruined your life. But he doesn’t try to let it bother him

You’ve been at home, your home. For couple weeks now after getting out of the hospital, you were alone. Vlad calls sometimes but he doesn’t want that reminder that what happened was entirely his fault.

You have been trying to get used to this new system. You are Blind now, nothing is easy anymore. You thought you knew your way around your apartment but now you don’t think you do. Trying to go to the bathroom has ended up on the balcony, almost falling off.

You trip on everything, like that loose floorboard or cutting your thigh on the sharp edges of tables. You developed more cuts and bruises at home then when you were in that attack.

This morning, Makarov comes over. He didn’t call, it was more you woke up because you felt him staring at you- which was creepy. Maybe more creepy you couldn’t see anything.

He didn’t say much all morning, just observing. Watching you trip, watching you cut yourself on the table edges. Watching you get lost in your own apartment..he was guilt ridden, but he would never admit it.

You had a doctor appointment at 12:30, so at 11:30 he called a driver for you so you could get there and home. It was a man he could trust with you. When you left, he wanted to know what it was like for you.

He took the tie around his neck and tied it around his eyes to make sure they stayed closed. He walked around the apartment’s, noting all the hazards.

When he was done, he rolled up his sleeves. He had work to do

He started with the floorboards, making sure the nails aren’t sticking out and replacing the broken boards with new ones. He also removed all the wood transition strips making it smoother for you too walk.

The next job was sanding all the corners down, on the walls. On the counters, on the tables. If it was pointy then it must go

His last job was too make it safer for you, he locked the balcony door tight. Making sure you couldn’t open it, you never used it anyways-

He did more things but thats just too boring to list..

It was almost 4 o’clock when you arrived home. He greeted you quietly before he stood to the side to watch.

You were going to the kitchen when you realized the sharp corners were sanded down, you were completely shocked by this.

You turned around to ask him about it,

“The least i could do..” he mumbled, “Just маленький things..”
