It’s the weekend and you’ve been swamped with school work and all your extracurriculars so you decided to just chill out today instead of going out with friends.

You stayed in your room and painted, read, scrolled on your phone. You know normal teenage stuff. Through the day your dad just kept peeking his head in randomly for just quick seconds.

So this time you decided to ask him about it

“What are you doing?” you asked as you set your book down and looked at him in your doorway

“I’m just proud of you. Very, very proud.” he stated with that smile he had since the day you were born. Actually since the day Lois said she was pregnant with you.

“You’ve become such a wonderful person.” he talked to you like you were still a five year old
