(Hopkins era.)
Paige and your step brother Evan were best friends. You never liked your step brother growing up, which meant you didn’t like Paige either.
Evan and Paige bonded over their shared liking for basketball and Fortnite. Plus Paige is also masculine and just recently came out to Evan as a lesbian, so that’s another reason for the two to be close friends.
When you were in middle school, usually she’d come over every weekend to play Fortnite with Evan, but after high school Evan would only go over to Paige’s. Until today, when Paige came over again.
You decided you’d stay in your room for as long as you could because you’d rather not see Paige.
She hasn’t seen you since middle school, so she imagined you looked the same.
You, Evan and Paige are all in your senior year.
Right now they’re in Evan’s room playing Fortnite, being loud as hell. You had enough of it, and your parents obviously weren’t going to do anything about it, so you took it upon yourself to tell them to be quiet.
When you walked in, Paige and Evan looked over. Evan rolled his eyes, while Paige just stared at you in awe. You looked different. So different.
