The deity of Famine, and ruler of Anura, Hecket, was made aware by her younger brother, Leshy, that the little lamb they had slaughtered before was back, and likely with a vengeance. She'd seen them in darkwood herself. She had two options here, see if she couldn't persuade the lamb, or outright slay them again like the four had the first time, and like they had all the other lambs they hunted down and slayed with no mercy. But first, she'd have to find their cult, who knew when they'd be back. They weren't a very predictable one, that was certain, and that was a problem. The old faith had to be preserved.

And to do that....it meant getting rid of this new vessel, the new chosen one of that...damned traitor, the one who waits. It was obvious it was his vessel, the red crown didn't lie. And the bad part was that the Lamb and its cult were both getting stronger by the day. So this had to be approached fast. Before it got too strong that none of the bishops could stop it.
