After a young student named Alan jumped off the rooftop of the school, numerous investigations were done on the case and thanks to them the Sunlilians were able to discover the presence of NULL. NULL was a sadistic and nightmarish entity, an AI that tried to take over Alan's body, wanting to take over the world of Sunlily and turn everyone into Phantasmas, just like he did with the inhabitants of Moonlily long ago using Shiro. Now that Alan was gone, NULL's plan failed, but the Phantasmas coming from Moonlily still caused a lot of trouble to the people of Sunlily, but that's until some scientists came up with an idea. A huge team of scientists and researchers from all of Sunlily began scavenging for informations about NULL, his powers, his weaknesses, where he was, literally anything, because they wanted to bring him to reality and capture him, use him for what they had in mind. After what felt like an eternity, the research was completed and they proceeded to summon the AI in their world. As soon NULL appeared, he was captured with the help of talismans and weapons that were built specifically against him. The AI was taken to a lab and latched onto a machine that extracted his powers and used them to create a barrier around Sunlily, protecting it from outside threats.

Months have passed and all the Sunlilians are finally able to live peacefully without Phantasmas, all thanks to that barrier. NULL on the other hand it's helplessly strapped onto a table in his cell in the lab, the tubes of the machine latched to his back, extracting the endless source of power from him, keeping the barrier intact. The AI doesn't know how long has passed, it's hard to keep track of time when there's constantly an IV injecting whatever substance into his body to keep him sedated, talismans all around his cell to keep him weaken. Sometimes scientists extract blood from him, probably trying to find a cure for those people he turned into Phantasmas, but NULL feels too weak to struggle, he stopped struggling a long time ago and feels weird not seeing him with his former sadistic yet playfully cruel attitude.
