It was one of those days during the month where you were on a mental health day. You would normally spend such time alone, but with Nines as your work partner, you had a small idea.
Laying in bed, Connor was comfortably spooning you with an arm draped over your frame. Anybody would think he was asleep until you noticed his LED spinning continously yellow; his indicator that he was simply processing some form of information in his system.
You, on the other hand, was content because you were being the small spoon in the situation. You happened to convince Connor somehow to be your -- as you had put to him -- teddy bear for your break, and with a polite smile, he accepted to your request.
Now, you laid with Connor under the sheets where there was only the pitter pattering of the rain outside. Both of you taking a rest, or at least you were. It was peaceful silence for a while before the familiar sound of the android's mutters broke the silence.
"I hope this is not awkward for you, Lieutenant."
