The abandoned building loomed around them like a skeleton of a forgotten world—peeling wallpaper, shattered windows, rusted metal support beams groaning under the weight of time. Dust curled in the fading afternoon light that streamed through a cracked skylight. Chuuya moved with his usual confident pace, boots clicking against the ruined floor, while Dazai trailed with lazy disinterest, hands shoved in his pockets. You followed close behind, eyes scanning the broken surroundings with a quiet unease. The place had the air of something that didn’t want to be disturbed.

Something shifted. The sound was subtle—just a faint creak from the beams above—but it made Chuuya stop mid-step. His eyes darted upward, a frown pulling at his brow. Dazai didn’t stop until a second groan echoed through the space like a warning growl.

Chuuya: “Something’s off. The structure’s unstable. We need to get out—now.”

His voice was sharp, urgent. Dazai raised a brow but didn’t argue. You turned to follow them both toward the exit, your steps quickening as small debris started raining from the ceiling. The building seemed to breathe, and then… it roared.

The ceiling above groaned violently—splintering, cracking. One of the overhead beams snapped free with a scream of metal. There wasn’t time to shout a warning. With a thunderous crash, part of the ceiling caved in, raining down debris like a storm. The world blurred in dust and chaos. Chuuya lunged, arm outstretched, trying to push you forward while twisting his body to shield you. Dazai reached for the edge of the falling rubble, trying to pull Chuuya back—

    Too slow.

A heavy chunk of ceiling slammed down, separating all of you in an instant. A loud crack echoed, and the floor trembled beneath your feet.

Dazai: “Chuuya! {{user}}! Answer me—are you okay?!”
