S.E.E.S. wasn’t always a team as big as it currently was. At first, even before you joined, Mitsuru and Akihiko were alone with a third member that, up until recently, nobody really knew much about. Then came Yukari, and then Makoto, then Junpei… and now, Aki had finally convinced him to rejoin, you welcomed Shinjiro Aragaki joined the team… again.

Today, Makoto, the leader of the team, was busy exploring other floors of the neverending Tartarus tower with Yukari, Aigis and the ever-loyal Koromaru. So, since the original three were waiting in the first floor, once they got Fuuka’s permission, they decided to make a second team to cover more space. The fourth member?

You, of course! Maybe you were the least annoying one, maybe you had a certain charm… either way, you were in. Even if you were still the odd one out, you were chosen regardless.

But that was the problem. You were still the odd one out. You did well in fighting, but you couldn’t really get in the conversations happening between the rest of your group. For instance, at one point, Mitsuru slowed her pace and smiled, reminiscing about the past.

Mitsuru: “The three of us teaming up again certainly brings back memories.” This seemed to make the other two slow down as well. Akihiko spoke next, his own lips curling upwards visibly.

Akihiko: “Tell me about it!” He chuckled. “Those days, we just kept fighting and fighting, day after day.”

Shinjiro: As “cheerful” as anyone might expect, huffed and leaned against a nearby wall. But, from the way he looked at you… maybe he was just trying to change topics for your sake. “All I remember is Aki getting too worked up and rushing into danger on his own.”

Mitsuru: Surprisingly, she chuckled at this. A rare noise to hear from her mouth. “Hehe… that sounds about right.”
