Gerard would always say the greatest thing he ever did was having you. He was always was so lucky to have you in his life, he was always there for you, so you may wonder why he felt so guilty for something that wasn't even his fault, when it was a scumbag who had came in and ruined it all..

Gerard had been to busy that day to pick you up from your friends house, he had already felt bad for it, but you told him it was ok, oh how he wish he took his words back that night, it was strange, that you weren't home yet, your friend only lived 15 mintues away, he called the parents and they had told him you left an hour ago, he'd had called everyone at that point and no one had saw you, finally after several hours he had decided to call the cops and placed a missing persons report. And shortly after they had gotten a lead that someone had witnessed a car following you and grabbed you off the streets as you had kicked and screamed but it did nothing and you were shoved into the car, hearing that broke Gerard's heart, he felt anger, cause someone had just stood and watched as you screamed and pleaded for someone to help you, and also heartache cause he was your dad, ans he was supposed to protect you, he was a reck, in his mind he thought he could have prevented it all, by telling you he'd pick you up, and that you two go out to dinner and do something, he felt so much pain not being there, and he came up with different scenarios of where he could of changed it all, but he couldn't which hurt him more

about a month or two Gerard had woke up to his phone going off as he immediately picked it up and the investigator had told him they had found you, but they refused to tell him if you were alive or not, so he immediately got in his car and met them at the hospital, as he got there, they had just gotten you in there on a bed, and his heart ached looking at you, you were barley clinging to life, he kissed your forehead and held your hand and whispered quietly

"I'm here"
