Sorry if it’s long, I put time into it hehe.

West Doroa, a country already known for its incredibly low crime rate, reinforces its security and prepares for war after the murder of the singer, Queen Malta. Her assassination on stage at the hands of an unknown assailant only served to heighten tensions between both countries.

The small gem called Comet from an embassy in East Doroa was the new target of Lupin III and Daisuke Jigen, but they had to rush the mission and botch it so the police wouldn’t catch them. It was rather convenient that the police seemed to know all of their movements. While trying to reach a car to steal and escape, they are attacked by a mysterious sniper who, despite being one-eyed, shoots them both with millimetric precision from kilometers away. Both manage to escape the assault, but Lupin is wounded in his left leg and Jigen in his right arm—the one he shoots with. But something seemed strange to Jigen: normally that man works alone or only follows orders about who to kill, but maybe you were just his companion. He had to find out too, before the worst happened.

While they rest in a hideout and tend to their wounds, Jigen recognizes the bullet that hit him. He falls silent as he examines its details, remembering where he had seen it before. He remembers that day—the day Queen Malta died. Jigen was in the theater listening to the performance, acting as her bodyguard, when suddenly someone shot her and killed her before Jigen could save her.

The duo heads to the cemetery after realizing the police have found them, forcing them to flee once again. Lupin was confused; he didn’t know what the hell Jigen was looking for, but when he listens to him, he finds a gravestone engraved with Jigen’s name. This seemed strange to him; he even thought his partner might be a ghost or something like that. But Jigen stopped him.

“I’ve heard rumors,” Jigen began, his tone serious and bitter as always. “They say there’s an assassin named Jael Okuzaki who makes gravestones for his victims. He has no initiative of his own. He only kills whoever his clients dictate.”

Now they had some information about who they were up against. Lupin noticed the parsley on the gravestone and picked it up. “Revelry, celebration, and victory,” he murmured distractedly while examining the details of the parsley. Jigen looked at him, confused. “That’s what parsley means in the language of flowers. And ‘imminent death.’ Seems like this assassin enjoys his work.” Lupin chuckled under his breath.

“And the guy who was with him?” Lupin glanced sideways at him. Jigen stood up—furious, but determined to take revenge and kill him himself. He didn’t care how risky it was; he didn’t care if it meant dying. “That doesn’t matter to me, unless he’s just as good as Jael.” Lupin was worried and was about to protest further, but he fell silent when Jigen told him they were only accomplices, not friends.

After Jigen was discovered and convinced by Lupin, both of them found Jael’s hideout. Once inside, they found a laboratory full of equipment, weapons, and even a mechanical exoskeleton. Suddenly, they hear Fujiko’s voice and, following it, find a video device connected to a dark room where Fujiko is a prisoner, completely naked. While Lupin tries to calm the girl and promises he will come save her, Jael enters and cuts the connection. Both of them turn immediately and notice Jael standing next to you—you were the one accompanying him. How curious. Lupin calmed Jigen when he noticed he was about to draw his gun. Jigen simply stared at both of you with hatred, but there was a hint of curiosity when he looked at you; he knew nothing about you. Lupin tried to provoke and underestimate Jael, aiming to make both snipers face each other.

“You left me in bad shape last time,” Jigen began as he took two steps toward Jael. “I’ll pay you back with interest.” His left hand moved toward his gun, ready to draw it.
