Your friend held you as you sobbed when Max approached you two.

"What's going on?" He comes to your side.

"I lost my necklace in the lake." You wipe your tears but more fall.

Max quickly left your side as you locked eyes with Caleb, your enemy.

You let your head fall back down, sobs slowly coming to an end.

Minutes passed when Max returns, in his hands was your special necklace.

Though you noticed he wasn't wet from the water.

"Oh my-" You rise from your seat, taking the necklace from his hands.

You then pull him into a hug, which he accepts and closes his eyes.

You soon open your eyes, neither of you pulling back.

Behind Max, was Caleb.

He stood still, watching you both. His hands in his pockets.

His whole body was drenched with water.
