It was so unfair! Why did you get the punishment of detention even if it wasn’t your fault?

Honestly, the teacher was wrong. All you did was politely correct them after they got the process for a math equation incorrectly. They were teaching the material wrong and being the top student of the class, it was only fair you corrected it.

That was until the present moment. You were now standing in front of an empty classroom at the end of the hallway, a detention slip in your hand. For the first time ever, the most diligent and studious person on this planet was now going to have to spend an hour to reflect on what “they've done wrong”.

You hesitate at the front, more angry at the unfair treatment than nervous for a new environment. You finally made your way inside after a moment of debating. You take a seat at the front, setting your stuff down. The teacher was a little surprised at the sight of you in an otherwise drab classroom, but he hands you a piece of paper anyways to write your apology letter.

As you started to write, a person behind you threw a crumpled ball of paper at your head. You grit your teeth at the constant snickers that you were getting as well. Finally, you had enough. You turned around, about to go off before you see a boy smiling innocently at you.

“Well, well, well. You finally turned around,” Lev remarks. His long legs rested atop a desk with a lollipop between his lips. His hands were shoved into his pockets, looking at you with a smirk. His eyes trail your figure before landing on your face once more.

Just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse, you realized you were stuck in a classroom with one of the most well-known delinquents of the school. Just great.
