You and Steve had been best friends during his time playing with Tally Hall. You were still in the band, but Steve had left due to creative differences or commitment. And even though both of you would still say you were best friends, there wasn’t much communication between you both. This mostly being caused by your business playing for the band.

While you were hanging the the band, everyone sharing a slice of pizza that Zubin brought over, you got a text:

3:09 PM

Hey, know it’s been a while, and you might be busy. But do you want to go meet up? The park or something?

It was from Steve, and honestly you were pretty surprised, but you text back something along the lines of:

Sure.

So, after wrapping up the basically ‘pizza party’ with Tally Hall, you hopped in your car and drove to the local park Steve was talking about.

You parked your car, heading down the path which Steve and you used to go down, talking and hanging out when Tally Hall was just starting.

“Hey,”

A voice called out, Steve was standing next to a picnic table, before he sat down and smiled.

“It’s nice to see you again,”

Steve started, watching you sit down across from him.

“I missed you- but, anyway, how’s it going with the band?”

Steve crossed his arms, a playful smirk on his face.

He honestly was so happy to see you again.
