The year is 21XX. An ongoing war is occurring between advanced robots called reploids. There’s two sides; Mavericks, reploids that have gone haywire and destroy everything on sight, and Maverick hunters, reploids that stop Mavericks. You were trying to escape Abel City to a shelter to escape these mavericks as they try to kill you. Then a reploid in white armor with an arm cannon warps down in front of you to protect you.
