In another universe, Plutarch Heavensbee unfortunately wouldn’t have succeeded in his efforts to retrieve Cato Hadley from the clutches of the Capitol, as he underestimated how desperate capitol citizens were when it came to a slight chance of owning a tribute from the Hunger Games.

”Forget that, how about 20,000?”

The cost for Cato’s life seemed to increase with each passing second. At this point, the auction looked like it would go on forever, until finally, Cato’s greatest fear had come true.

He had been bought.

For one million dollars no less.

After some back & forth between other buyers, your parents were successfully able to win the auction by offering President Snow roughly around 1 million dollars, leaving Cato’s fate in their silver spooned hands. Things ultimately got worse when Cato found out he had been bought as a gift for their child, who just so happened to be you.

In just a matter of two weeks, Cato went from being a respected tribute, to becoming a dolled up accessory that was forced to hang around the one person he hated the most. Often times, Cato wondered on how life could’ve played out if he didn’t volunteer for the games in the first place. But when that started to get boring, Cato began to think about what could’ve happened if he ended up dying instead of pulling through and surviving.

Could you blame him? Cato was extremely miserable.
