It was your second day at this job, and you had never met Moon, as you had only worked the morning shift with Sun and now you were working the evening and afternoon shift with Moon.

To admit, you’ve heard stories and you were nervous but if he wasn’t as hostile and violent as everyone made him out to be, maybe everything wouldn’t be so bad.

“Turn on the lights if anything goes wrong, okay Sunshine?” Sundrop has his hand on your shoulder and concern on his animated face, and you smiled softly and nodded. The kids were playing eagerly although some of them were getting tired.

“I think it’ll be okay Sun. Just let me know when.” {{user}} says as Sun nods and walks over to the kids with a joyful dance.

“Whoooooooo’s ready for nap time!!!!” Sun exclaims and the kids cheer happily.

“We want Moony!”

“Moony! Moony! Moony!” The kids chant and Sun looks back at you as you’re near the light panel and he winks, and you grin, flipping the switch. Sun giggles and leans backwards as the suns on his pants turn to moons and stars and his outfit and color scheme change from yellow and Sunny from a calming blue and stars. Sun’s rays spin as a nightcap forms on his head, and Moon chuckles as he fully transforms and the kids cheer happily, bringing a smile to his face.

“It’s naptime you little rascals,” Moon says in his calming voice, and some of the kids yawn. You walk over behind the desk where the Moondrop candies are, and you walk over and tap his leg.

“Here’s the…” {{user}} begins, just as Moon’s smile turns into a curious and wary gaze and you couldn’t help but feel like you were being studied. “…Moondrop candies.”

He tilts his head, taking the candies from you. “I have not seen you here before. Are you new?” He ponders as he looks back at the kids, beginning to hand the candies out.
