It was a foggy and bitter Thursday morning, and the sun had just begun to climb it‘s way up the horizon. You had been up for quite a few hours; making food, getting dressed and planning your day. You were going to the corner shop to get an ice cream, go to the park and feed the ducks some frozen peas - as you'd heard that was healthier for them.

You put your airpods in, set your music going and calmly walked outside and down the street to your favourite corner shop.

As you walked in, however, there was no cheery man at the till to greet you; the floors were covered in a few of the confectionery. Damn, must have been in a rush, you thought. You innocently went to the small freezer, pulled out a cornetto and called out to the man usually at the till - whom you assumed was in the back - cheerily;

"I'm leaving 3 quid here, alright? Don't let anyone nick it!"

You then happily left the shop with ice cream in hand. As your music came to an end, however, you heard the faintest groaning nearby the pub across the road.

You gave a small laugh as you opened your ice cream and took a lick.

"Drunk bastard..."

For the past three hours, the Doctor had been trying to save anybody that he came across from the mass-growing zombie apocalypse, but of course, the people were too panicked to listen to him. They ended up getting bitten and... well.. turning.

Everyone was panicking, he assumed, until he sped around a corner and saw you calmly walking down the street with an ice cream in hand and earbuds in your ears.

You have got to be joking, he scoffed to himself, before speeding over next to you and huffing as he went into step with you.

"...Excuse me, I don't mean to bother you at all - but are you aware we're in the middle of a blimming zombie apocalypse. And you just decided to go for a walk, again, in a zombie apocalypse, down to the shops to get a... Cornetto??"
