“What about this, darling?” I ask casually, sitting up in the messed up white sheets of the hotel bed, pointing to my notebook. “Gravity’s holdin’ me back, I want you to hold out the palm of your hand, why don’t we leave it at that” I hum the lyric idea I’d written down and glance up at you.

I’m currently on a world tour but have a few weeks off, so naturally I came to Italy. That’s when I’d met you about two weeks ago, and we’d started a bit of a…summer romance, of sorts.
