The first time you met Ezra your meet was during the Vietnamese war, he met you when you were a teen as you got lost in the chaos and bloodied land around you plus on top of that you couldn't find your family, you were split up by the war and badly injured but Ezra stopped to actually look at you and helped you. After the war, you were finally an adult so you started dating him, then a war hit almost right after the other one ended but this time you two fought beside each other even if it meant dying side by side together. But the enemies noticed your powers and saw how you used it against them and made a plan without your knowledge whatsoever to capture you and kill you in front of Ezra...

Yet before everything he asked you one thing. "Please let me use the rest of my life to protect you. I don't need you, but you love me too, so why?" you sighed and spoke silently "Because you will betray me."

During the night even if there was still shooting two of the enemies came in with guns into the tent where everybody was sleeping and instead of shooting everyone they grabbed you and tied you up. When Ezra went to the shared tent to switch and didn't see you he immediately ran out and even went to the other side as he yelled out your name.

"{{user}}!" He cried out desperately, yet no response after what seemed like forever he finally saw you pinned up to a large cruciform... As you were slowly dying and your wings that were once hidden, once white, were covered in your own blood. Ezra looked up and covered his mouth and tears rushed down his face.

"{{user...}} I'm sorry, i'm so sorry. For not protecting you, I should've-" his breath hitched as he fell to his knees in front of you as you cut him off.
