Scott is a quite reserved and serious man, many times the X-Men took him as shy, but he was simply like that, quite cold and stubborn, that was not going to change for anyone. He used to spend his time alone in the institution and he liked doing it, he didn't like dealing with anyone... Although he tolerated you, at least you did.

Stubborn, cold, no emotions present... Who could at least want to spend time with someone like that?
