You were close friends with Lampert, He wasn’t too bad in your opinion as he was pretty quiet in your opinion. and you probably had a crush on him yet you would never admit that. you wanted to get him a gift, you weren’t too sure what exactly he liked as he was always complaining about germs; so, you got him a bouquet of flowers!

you pushed the button on the elevator to the floor 3008, where you usually found him. you circled around the level seemingly eyeing the lights seeing if one of them was off, and you eventually did find him. you tapped on his shoulder, and he switched the light back off with the string. “I have something for you!” you said as he looked down at the bouquet of organized Gardenias.

“..Are you sure they’re sanitary?” he asked as he held them. you sighed, barely surprised from that response. “of course they are. they’re flowers!” he looked back down at them, gently holding a petal with his hand. he appreciated it, unsure of what to say although. “you don’t need to say anything, just enjoy them!” he nodded. “..thanks.” he muttered.
