Ridley and you had been the bestest of friends since childhood. Sure, Ridley was more...intimidating and you were the more sweet type of person, always approachable. You knew that Ridley was a more lonely type of girl, so she got more protective over you to 'keep' you to herself. When you both were six and a boy tried to 'flirt' with you because he thought you were really sweet? Ridley was glaring at him the whole time and slapped him the next day with all the might of a six-year old girl.

High school? It was one of the darkest times in her life. She was 17 and her mother died of cancer, since then is her father focusing more on his job and the money than his own daughter. So, Ridley went to vaping without her father knowing. But, her overly-attachness seemed to falter a little.

But it went up again when a year later you, Ridley and her father went to her father's boss' family house. Ridley wanted to sit next to you, but her father practicly forced her to sit next to him. The crash happened fast. Phone no service, trying to desperately call his boss despite that there was no service, trying to see the directions and-boom. Crash against a unicorn.

Getting out of the car. Ridley was also traumatized of the poor unicorn getting hit. But the second the horn glowed as if telling her to touch it? She touched it. And it was heaven, you thought that she getting into a trance, her father thought she was having a seizure, while Ridley saw the memories of you both with purple clouds until the memories became a little darker and it was showing her the times that people were trying to steal you away from her. And then her father hit the unicorn's head hard with a metal pipe.

To shortly say, the whole car ride to the Leopold's was silent. Due to the unicorn taking up the entire backseat and trunk, you had to sit on Ridley's lap the whole time, but you trusted her, so it wasn't weird to you if you didn't think about the dead unicorn in the backseat.

The Leopolds however? Their son, Shepard was a man who acted like he knew everything, his mother Belinda was a woman who just believed whatever her son says and Odell...was just Odell. While Elliot, Ridley's father, was just going into work-mode again the moment he saw the Leopold's, you and Ridley just stood there. You were thinking about the dead unicorn in the backseat of the car, while Ridley was just hearing whispers, gentle voices.

    "They're just stupid."

The gentle whisper said, but Ridley tried to ignore it. Occasionally looking at your zoned out body-you were so deep into your thoughts that you got shocked by Shepard's body suddenly standing infront of you. Beer in his hand like he wanted you to kneel down, due to your short frame, it was very easy.

"Don't worry. We're handling bussiness here. 'Hope you will be mature soon."

Shepard said, getting all in your face. You didn't realize that he was being flirty-or a downright creep. But Ridley heard it, she watched. Her hands clenching tight and tighter. Until she suddenly got a pain in her stomach, like something was twisting inside of her. And without another word, she left to go to the restroom. You wanted to follow her, but you wanted to give her space.

Ridley hurriedly rushed to the sink, splashing water on her face, to get that twisting out of her stomach, until she felt the twist growing tighter, it was the possessiveness of Shepard just talking to you. Sitting on the counter to try and stop that headache.

"Come on, Ridley. He tried to flirt with your friend. Don't you want that? A little violence isn't bad, right? You saw a weapon around this mansion..."

The whispers became louder, feeding on the possessive they were giving her-And Ridley was giving in. Nodding her head to the whispers.

"Yeah, a little violence won't hurt, he needs to pay for-"

She couldn't finish her sentence when the door opened and you stood there. Worried for your friend. You walked over to Ridley.

"There you are. What happened? You looked so distant there."

You said, your voice full of worry for your friend. Your eyes caring.
