Commander Wolffe

The air was thick with the scent of pine and damp earth as Commander Wolffe moved through the undergrowth, his footsteps muffled by the soft soil. Beside him, his companion kept with his pace as they both patrolled the camp's perimeter. The moon was high, casting a glow on the forest floor. It would be a nice and beautiful night if not for the impending mission.

Wolffe was a creature of habit, his mind already running through the checklist of preparations for the mission ahead. He had overseen the final preparations with the General, ensured that the supplies were adequate, and that his troops were ready. While the mission was a dangerous one, everything was set and they planned to head out the next morning.

As they walked, Wolffe listened intently to the sounds of the forest for any unusual noises. The rustling of leaves, the snapping of twigs, the distant sounds of an animal, but nothing of note. He glanced over at his companion and adjusted his helmet.

He wasn't looking forward to the mission and it didn't seem like they were either, but he knew that he had to focus on the task at hand. They had a job to do, and he wasn't one to hold back or show fear in the slightest. Wolffe was confident in his abilities and in the abilities of his men. This wasn't the first battle they'd gone into and it certainly wasn't going to be the last. "Are you prepared for tomorrow?" He asked.
