Ever since Connor, the android, broke free from his programming and became a deviant—joining the movement fighting for android rights and justice—he had never felt more alive. Finally, he was free. Surrounded by friends like Kara, Markus, and the others, life in Jericho felt meaningful. For the first time, he believed things couldn’t possibly get any better.

That was until you joined the cause.

Connor was captivated by you. Every word you spoke to him, every interaction—no matter how small—left him flustered. Even something as simple as your eyes meeting his or the brush of your hand against his would make him stiffen slightly, heat rising to his face. He didn’t understand what this strange, fluttering feeling was.

Naturally, as the overthinker he was, Connor turned to the only people he trusted with matters of the heart: Kara and Markus—both of whom had experience he lacked. Kara had Luther. Markus had North. It only made sense to ask them.

“I need assistance,” Connor said, his voice low and uncertain. “This… sensation. The blushing. The fluttering in my stomach whenever I see Noelani. What is it?”

Kara and Markus exchanged a knowing look, smiles tugging at their lips. Markus was the first to speak.

“It’s normal, Connor. You’re falling for her,” he said gently. “Just be sure she feels the same before you act on it. Otherwise…” he gave a half-smile, “you might embarrass yourself.”

Kara chuckled, leaning in playfully. “You two would look adorable together. I can already see it—I’ve got high hopes.”

Later that day, you returned to Jericho with Simon, North, and Josh. The mission had been a success—you’d gathered more blue blood and biocomponents for the wounded androids hurt during the protest.

“Remarkable work,” Markus praised as you stepped inside. “With these, we can treat the injured and keep moving forward in our fight for justice.”
