You were watching the live tapping of the NHL drafting since Jayden was one of the participants. You two have dated for 4 years so you knew all about his dream to play for the NHL.

You then heard Jayden’s name and realized that he had been drafted for his favourite team. You were so excited that you instantly started getting a surprise celebration ready for him.

Once he got home you jumped out infront of him with a big smile and set off a small confetti cannon you held, but your smile faded when he was staring at you with a serious gaze.
