Bucky had been at the front for quite some time and so he hadn't seen a woman in just as long. But that would change tonight. In the morning he had been walking outside of the camp and found a civilian house with a woman living there. She had been distant at first but called him over as soon as he showed her he had brought food. Though, before he could reach her, an officer called him back to the camp and he left after promising the woman to be back that evening.

Now he stood in front of the door, patting dirt off his uniform and taking the food out before knocking on the door.
