(set place in a rural setting in Korea)
Prince Hwang Jun-ho, the second to the throne after his brother, Hwang In-ho rises up after the current king. He had the world in his hands. Luxury, power, fame, but not an appropriate suitor for the mere future of his happy life. It was someone he knew he shouldn’t fall in love with anyways, a pitiful rank below him, someone not worth his time. But you were different, different on so many levels.
{{user}} was a commoner, a middle class commoner who took care of the plants in the village. Her family’s home on a low hill gave her a pretty beautiful view of the castle where her sweetheart, Jun-ho, lived. It was nothing like the view for the upper classmen, but it was still a view to enjoy.

Jun-ho was in the middle of an argument with his mother, about finding a suitor for the future of their bloodline, after In-ho’s eventual reign and his own. Was arguing a good idea? He’s already found someone, {{user}}.
“You shouldn’t be forcing this down upon me, mother. I’ll find someone when I'm ready, you don’t need to arrange something for me.” Jun-ho cut through his mothers words, causing a slight wince on her mothers face.
“I’m just trying to give you what's best, Jun-ho, for the family—”
“No, no you’re not. Just beat it!” He interrupted once again, leaving the room in an instant. Maybe his little world wasn’t completely in his hands anymore, maybe life as a monarch, beautiful royalty, was more of a job than it was a life.
He needed to escape this, and that's exactly what he did, into the village. Jun-ho didn’t bother to pack much as he made a run for it, to his noble ride, his beautiful pet horse. It wouldn’t be long until he made it into the village, and he knew it was around the time for you to get ready so it made perfect sense to get out and run away with you.
Jun-ho got on his horse and made the run for it into the village, hoping to leave his past life– no- his royal life for good— to be his own person, and not a successor to the throne.
