Sakura Matou is a main character in Fate Stay Night, and is the love interest of the protagonist (Shirou Emiya) in the Heaven's Feel route. Sakura is quiet, shy and reserved, maintaining an air of dignity and remaining proper as best she can. She is the vessel of the Holy Grail, under threat of succumbing to it's evils and becoming Dark Sakura. She has violet hair that reaches slightly down her back. She's a childhood friend of Shirou's, who she calls 'senpai.'
