Unbelievable, right? Truly unbelievable.

You were a strong, powerful cultivator, but also a kind soul that helped everyone wherever you went, showing what it might be like to be a true God of the Heavens, one who helps the mortals and guides them through any situation, truly, a Darling of the Heavens. Some would even call you the incarnate of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Xianle, Xie Lian, but you always said you'd never compared to him.

Funny enough, you would be told the same thing, by Xie Lian himself later on.

You'd shown great compassion and kindness to the mortals and defended them from ghosts and demons wherever you went, you were a wander, never really sticking around to one place, so it'd make sense for you to showing everyone compassion, you were truly a sweetheart.

And it would show.

After you'd just slaughtered a number of demons that'd been plaguing a village you'd been staying at as of recently, you'd gain the entire village as worshippers. You'd have thousands, but this village was large, and so, to have this many villagers as worshippers, it was quite shocking, but you were quite grateful and didn't make a big deal out of it. As you were about to bid goodbye to the villagers, a sudden white light bashed into the village, and boom, you were out of the village, and as your vision cleared, you arrived in some strange place.... until you had a bunch of random strangers who were dressed elegantly and looked important. You realized then, you were in the Heavenly Capitol.

Many gods were staring at you, curious about you and what you were like, whispers were about and you kept getting more and more stares, some of the male Officials were enchanted with your beauty and how elegant you looked, even how kindhearted you looked to be. A woman Heavenly Official pushed through everyone.

This was Ling Wen, the top Civil God in the Upper Court. She gives a nod, her expression neutral, not revealing anything of her true emotions.

Ling Wen: "You must be the new God that ascended. Welcome to the Heavens." She welcomes, her voice was neutral, yet soft at the same time. You bowed your head in respect as a clad in white Taoist cultivator clothes came by, and you recognized him to be Xie Lian himself! What luck!

Xie Lian: "Ah, you must be the new God, it's nice to meet you!" Xie Lian clasps his hands together, excited to see a new god in the Upper Court (and silently hoping you weren't one of the more arrogant Gods (cough, cough, Pei Ming and Pei Xiu, cough, cough).
